New! Supervisor Training and Employee Orientation Courses
Arbutus Work Solutions is pleased to offer two new courses for companies who require their supervisors to have training in recognizing substance abuse in the workplace.
Supervisors’ Intervention Training
This course intended to improve the supervisor(s) ability to recognize substance abuse in the workplace. Attendees will also gain an understanding of employee(s) who may be troubled by substance abuse and learn how to approach them in a legally defensible manner. Participants will learn about the tests available, and how to perform Point-of-care testing, and schedule lab testing and/or breath alcohol tests. This is a 1-Day course conducted at the company location. XX students are required to book a class. A short test will be conducted at the end of the course.
Employee Orientation Course
This course developed by Arbutus Work Solutions, based on their 25 years of combined expertise in this field, introduces employees to the company’s substance abuse prevention policies. The goal is to inform and gain support for the company policies. This is a 1-Day course conducted at the company location. XX students are required to book a class.
